Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is an anti-inflammatory and a popular remedy used in folk medicine for treating a wide variety of conditions. For facial remedies it contains alpha hydroxy acids that will remove dead skin and it contains antioxidants which reveal healthy and vibrant new skin that reduce an aged spots.

Baking Soda

It is an anti-fungal and anti-bacterial good exfoliating agent that helps remove dead cells. In addition, it balances pH level of the skin, which is very important to maintain even and clear skin (helps reduces skin pigmentation and blemishes).

Do a skin test first:

Baking soda is generally safe for your skin. However, it can cause irritation in some people. It is, therefore, a good idea to do a patch test first to see how your skin takes it. Also, don’t apply baking soda to broken skin without checking with your doctor first.

So, how often should you exfoliate? If you have sensitive or dry skin, exfoliating once or twice a week might do. Those with thicker, oily skins might need to do it more frequently.

This remedy will improve the skin appearance, eliminate discolorations of the skin, reduce the pore appearance and soothe the skin. It can also eliminate blackheads, exfoliate the skin and treat acne. It requires few natural ingredients like honey or coconut oil.

Directions:

1 teaspoon of baking soda and dilute with ACV in 1 teaspoon in the small container. Then, add the honey (for creamier results) or you can add the lemon juice. For me, I don’t add lemon juice because of the acetic results (not everyone has the same sensitivity in skin). I like to keep mine, mild and simple. Mix the ingredients so you can get homogenous mixture. Apply it on clean face and leave it to dry for five to ten minutes. Use warm water to rinse it off. Finish with cold water. Apply moisturizer for a glowing result.

I hope you enjoyed my blog today!

Stay look young and keep it healthy 🙂
